Iloilo, The Philippines revisit the super typhoon Yolanda struck places between 13-18 August 2014
The assigned 40 ft container of ricemeals for GMI localed in Iloilo were well received, they were sent to 4 districts in Bingawan and Sandionisio to
distribute. We were invited back to meet the local government who together with Global Saemul Undong and GMI built 62 new houses to survivors that had lost
everything and today still have no mean to be employable.
We are happy to see people are cheerful and trusting God will provide, wanting to improve their future prospect. We are also happy that after the feeding,
GMI and local churches began sharing the Good News with them.
In the meantime, our US office also visited Cathedral of Praise in Cebu to discuss the launch of feeding of 800 to 1000 children under Every Child Every
Day Program. Please continue to pray for this to come to past as shipping after the disaster relief period could be difficult.
Our sincere thanks to善因善基金會for generous donation of clothing for this outreach trip use.
