Cambodian Today

FTH currently feeds 3,500 children with our Every Child Every Day program across Cambodia at 6 feeding points. We started with just 200 children in Phnom Pehn. Now, we serve in Kompong Chnang Province, Sihanukvile Province, Phnom Penh and Mondulkiri. Regular shipments of nutritious ricemeals are delivered to meet the people’s nutrition needs, and lives and families have been transformed through health education on the importance of eating well and being healthy.

Each of our field partners has a kitchen and is responsible for cooking meals for the children with the ricemeal packages FTH provides. We are happy to see the Cambodian children are eating well!

All our field partners (churches and ministries) would like FTH’s program to continue where they are, in fact, they’d like to receive more ricemeals because they can see the remarkable changes in the people and their lives after a period of eating the ricemeals. Children are healthier and they can concentrate better. Elderly people testified that they feel stronger with more energy.

Testimony

“The children are healthier and there is less sickness. The children say they are able to remember things. They now learn the importance of eating healthy food. The elderly people reported they had less sickness and body pain too, and they slept better.”

FTH’s spiritual and humanitarian work in Cambodia began in 2007 when Joyce Meyer Ministry invited hundreds of mission agencies and churches from USA and Asia to participate a global evangelism movement to re-establish hope for a nation’s future through building homes, orphanages and community centers, caring for widows, orphans, prisoners and those without hope. Soon after, FTH partnered with Victory Centre (from Tulsa Oklahoma) to hold a week of outreaches, seminars, visits and introduction of our feeding programs to the local pastors at Kompong Thom. Local churches soon opened doors to invite FTH to collaborate with them to serve the hungry in Kampong Thom. Since, 15 new Hope Centres were opened, which served both as feeding sites and children’s homes.
